High-purity thermoset, polyimide (PI) parts and shapes are capable of withstanding continuous operating temperatures up to 288oC. It is a machine grade polyimide plastic with exceptional dimensional stability and resistance to chemical attack. Low trace impurities and off-gassing makes this plastic suitable for semiconductor applications.

Thermoset polyamide-imide (PAI) is also suitable for high-temperature applications and close tolerance parts. Pyropel HDT has a low coefficient of linear thermal expansion and excellent electrical properties. This plastic is used in electrical fixtures and test sockets.​
