INSTRUCTION MANUAL TO INSTALL Star-BagŪ USING A TORSION SPRING AND T-FLANGE
H Make sure that the cell plate is clean.
H Check to ensure there are no sharp edges in or around the cell plate holes.
H For delicate types of fabric it may be necessary to use installation sleeves.
H Make sure that the Star Cages are properly fitted in the Star Bags. The pleats on the bag should align with the rays on the cages.
H Take the sets (Star-Assembly) to the installation site very carefully. Do not drag or roll the assemblies. If possible, keep assemblies in the original box while transferring to the installation site.
H Keep T-flange within reach of the bag.
H Place the installation sleeve in the hole.
H Hold assembly perpendicular to the cell plate, over the intended cell plate hole.
H Insert the bottom of the bag through the cell plate hole, if necessary, bunch the bottom of the bag so the bag slides in easily.
H Slide the bag to the first horizontal band and stop before the band hits the side wall, collapse the band slightly by pressing with your hands until the band has passed.
H Repeat until last band has passed.
H Slide the bag to the cuff area, allowing the outside of the cuff to stop on top of the cell plate.
H Snap the cuff into the cell plate as you would with a standard bag.
H Verify that the snap band is properly seated in the cell plate hole.
H Install the T-flange over the top of the bag as shown on the right.
H Pull the “torsion spring” inserted in the first ring of the Star Cage and remove the plastic belt, allow it to open and place the side legs on the outside of the T-flange.
H Push the cage down gently inside the bag to set the bag in place.
