Albany Engineered Composites Takes Center Stage at JEC World 2026
The Albany International subsidiary showcases production-ready composite manufacturing as aerospace and defense industries push for higher performance and sustainable innovation.
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. Albany Engineered Composites (AEC), a subsidiary of Albany International Corp. (NYSE: AIN), is heading to JEC World 2026 in Paris, France (March 10–12) with a straightforward message: high-rate composite manufacturing is ready for what aerospace and defense need next.
AEC has built itself into a full-spectrum composites partner, supporting customers across commercial aviation, military programs, space, and the fast-growing Advanced Air Mobility sector. Their work focuses on replacing heavy metal components with lighter composite structures, engineering solutions for extreme environments like turbine engines and hypersonic applications, and pushing forward on sustainable aviation technology.
That last piece matters more than ever. Composites are lighter than traditional metals, which means better fuel efficiency and lower emissions over an aircraft's lifetime. As the industry moves toward decarbonization, the ability to manufacture composites at scale isn't just a technical capability. It's becoming a competitive necessity. For newer platforms like eVTOL aircraft, it's practically a prerequisite.
If you're at JEC World, AEC will be at Hall 6, Booth K24.
Albany Engineered Composites designs and manufactures advanced composite components for commercial and military aircraft, missiles, and unmanned vehicles. A subsidiary of Albany International Corp. (NYSE: AIN).
