AEC Lands Seven-Year Contract with Bell Textron for Bell 525 Helicopter

 

 

AEC secures a long-term partnership to supply composite structural components for one of the rotorcraft industry's most anticipated platforms.

ROCHESTER, N.H. Albany International Corp. (NYSE: AIN) announced that its subsidiary Albany Engineered Composites (AEC) has been awarded a seven-year contract from Bell Textron, Inc. to produce composite structures components for the Bell 525 helicopter. The deal marks a significant new partnership and further cements AEC's growing footprint in the rotorcraft market.

AEC President Chris Stone called the award a reflection of the company's new yet strategic collaboration with Bell, adding that AEC looks forward to exploring additional opportunities to provide Bell with mission-critical composite components across its aircraft portfolio. Yahoo Finance

The Bell 525 is a super-medium helicopter designed for offshore energy, search and rescue, and VIP transport missions. For AEC, the contract represents a natural extension of its work producing lightweight, high-performance composite parts for some of the most demanding programs in aerospace.

The global aerospace composites market is projected to grow through 2030, driven by rising demand for electric and hybrid aircraft, advanced fighter jets, and rotorcraft. Ainvest Contracts like this one position AEC to capitalize on that trend well into the next decade.
